A fan mistook Shah Rukh Khan for Akshay Kumar and what happened next can melt your heart

Shah Rukh Khan revealing an incredibly funny incident when he stopped to greet a follower only to realise she had mistaken him for Akshay Kumar.

It wouldn’t be utterly wrong to mention that Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan — the Bollywood stars from Delhi — have had a similar career arc in Bollywood. The two superstars have a humongous fan following worldwide. Shah Rukh Khan recently appeared on Sajid Khan and Riteish Deshmukh’s TV show Yaaron Ki Baraat with Anushka Sharma. The couple has shared the screen in 2 films — Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hain Jaan — and is now working in The Ring.

While the 2 commemorated, the highlight of the show remained was SRK revealing an incredibly funny incident that had happened 20 years ago. He was at London’s Heathrow airport when an admirer started chasing him. Although the actor was late for his flight, he stopped to greet his fan only to grasp she had mistaken him for Akshay Kumar.

The incident took place nearly 2 decades ago, an era which didn't have camera phones and selfies. Hence the fan handed him a chunk of paper for an autograph. Any other actor in SRK’s place might have taken offence however King Khan chose to greet the fan in sensible spirit.

“You need to have loved my song, Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast,” asked the Dilwale actor. For the uninitiated, it is a song from Akshay’s Mohra. The fan replied yes and Khan signed the autograph, ‘With love from Akshay Kumar’ and went to catch his flight.
